The Mountain Rescue Dog Cover Reveal

I am delighted to reveal the cover of my new book: The Mountain Rescue Dog. This is a tale about the remarkable bond between one girl and a stray dog who’s found wandering around the moors. Set in the wilds of Scotland, Clova and Tatty team up against the odds to help the lost and injured. This is a book for all those who love dogs, the great outdoors, wildlife and on-the-edge-of-your-seat adventures. The Mountain Rescue Dog releases this September.

I’d like to thank my agent, Polly, who planted the seed of a rescue dog who rescues others in my mind. Massive thanks to my editor, Lauren Fortune, and to the Scholastic team for making this happen. I’d like to thank the illustrator, David Dean, for bringing Clova and Tatty to life so beautifully. Lastly I’d like to thank Jarlath Folan, who with his two dogs, saves lives in the Republic of Ireland. It’s with his assistance that I was able to touch on some of the training the dogs go through with their humans. I have tried to capture the spirit of all those who live to help others in their hour of need.
