Scholastic Schools Live Event for The Mountain Rescue Dog

Want to know a bit more about the history of Search and Rescue dogs? Interested in finding out what makes dogs so good at locating people? Would you like to meet some lifesaving dogs from around the world? Then join me on Tuesday 27th September at 11am for Scholastic Schools Live. I’ll be discussing how the dogs are trained and how they rescue people from avalanches. Plus I’ll be setting my very own Search and Rescue story task for children, which has lots of hints and tips to help them write some thrilling adventures.
