In Maxwell, Lisa has created yet another genius character. He’s troublesome, hilarious, warm-hearted, caring and trying to cope with the tricky issue of family discord at home. Defined by his awful behaviour, it’s wonderful seeing him realise his true value to those around him. A cracking read for all those who love big characters, comedy, magic, mystery and friendship. And I can guarantee you’ll most definitely want to know what the sun sounds like.
